We are a Troop of just about 50 girls, well-mixed between public school, private school, and homeschool students.
We meet twice a month, Thursday evenings, throughout the school year, with additional optional activities during the summer. Each year we offer at least three service projects a year, several fun social activities, two or three camping/outdoor events, and several badges accomplished as a group.For the girl who wants more, we participate in a local High Adventure group and a regional summer camp, we support and encourage her to pursue badges and sports pins in areas that interest her, we offer suggestions for additional service opportunities, and we provide additional leadership roles for her within the Troop.
We meet at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, 9333 W. 159th Street, Overland Park. We have a variety of area churches and denominations represented in our Troop, so your daughter is sure to find someone she can connect with quickly.
We welcome visitors year-round; if you would like to see what an AHG meeting is like, we would love to have you join us.
